Happy Friday Chickie's! Guess what?! This weekend is going to be a long one. Doesn't Memorial day feel like the kickoff to summer? I hope to attend at least one barbeque, spend some time with my family and enjoy the sunshine. Good food, good people, good fun.
Don't forget to stop and pay respects to the brave men and women that protect and serve our country.I am picking some flowers and placing on the memorial in the park across the street. Did you know Memorial Day was started to honor all of the Union soldiers that died during the civil war? It was eventually named a national Holiday for all fallen US service members.
